Via Lamontblog, Joe Lieberman is melting down over Ned Lamont's new ad:
Lamont's campaign is launching a new TV ad that may be among the most clever ever seen in a Connecticut political campaign.
AD: "Joe Lieberman on presidential power; "in matters of war, we undermine presidential credibility at our national peril"
That portion of the ad is actually Joe Lieberman's voice and words matched with video of President Bush. In a later sequence, a formal picture of Senator Lieberman transforms into a formal picture of President Bush. The message is not very subtle.
Lieberman addressed it at the convention.
"He's wrong and I am offended by it every time he calls me a lap dog for the Bush administration. That, forgive me, is b.s!" says Lieberman.
